Subscribing to a site I want to follow

  I am trying to confirm that I want to follow a particular site in which I use email address #1. I set up a gravatar for this address and name.

  But when I click on the link (indeed sent to email address #1), it opens to a page of email address #2 where I have had blogs in the past.

  I have no idea:
  (1) why it’s forwarding to the different email and
  (2) how to successfully confirm that I want the notifications from the community in which I use email #1.

  Help me please!
