Subscribing to our newsletter

On this website, when a visitor enters their email address to ‘Enter your email address to subscribe to Sherryl’s Newsletter and receive notifications of new posts by email.’
They get an error message stating ‘There was an error when subscribing. Please try again.’
I tested this with two browsers and a number of email addresses. How can I fix this?
