subscribing to tags

I was recently told that in order to have my posts publish I needed to subscribe to the different tags, or categories.(I’m not sure which it was) I am fairly new to this and don’t exactly know what that means. Any help would be appreciated.

If you look at the thread (just click in the “Member” link beside or below your name in the forum to find all your threads) you’ll see that I just asked whether you subscribed to the tags, because you wrote about posts not appearing in the “Tag surfer” area. Maybe we should first find a solution to your first question before we start discussing this issue. Could you please explain clearly your first question about posts not showing up somewhere? Depending on where you want your posts to show up, the solution might be different.

It seems to be working today, but what I meant was when I would publish a post, it would show up on my blog if I typed in the url. When I would have my friends try to look it up under the categories on wordpress it would not be there. I was just wanting my post to show up under the categories on the right side of the wordpress homepage.

So you are not speaking of a page in your blog or in your dashboard, but you are reffering to the global tags. Well, you just have to be patient, I guess.
