  going to upgrade from your free sub to a paid sub, wondering can I pay quarterly or half yearly or does it have to be yearly, thank you

  Hi. All WordPress.com plans are billed and paid yearly. They also auto-renew using the payment plan on file unless you opt-out of that option. There are no monthly billing plans available.
