i used to make websites with Shopify, not very familiar with WordPress .. i wanted to know if theres the possibility of obtaining a trial period on this website? i dont even know if i can create what i want here …WP.com: Yes

Hi,
Yes you can create websites for free on WordPress.com. However, certain features will be locked. Should you decide to subscribe to the Pro plan these features will then be unlocked.
To create a new account you can do the following:
- Log in to your account (if you are not already logged in).
- Click on My Site.
- Select the Add New Site option at the bottom of the menu.

Hi there, just adding that while there is no trial available, the Pro plan has a 14-day refund window https://wordpress.com/pricing/ However if you register a new domain as a part of the plan, the refund window for domains is 96 hours from purchase. https://wordpress.com/support/refunds/

Also, there are two flavors of WordPress: WordPress.com where we are, which is a hosting company that uses a modified version of the WordPress software. Then there is the full WordPress open source software itself, which can be downloaded and installed with any reputable web hosting company.
