Really sorry to hear this, being charged for something you can’t even see in your account is genuinely frustrating and you deserve a clear answer and a refund. Let’s get this sorted.
Why this happens
The most common reason for this is that the subscription is attached to a different WordPress.com account than the one you’re logging into, perhaps one created with a different email address. This is why it shows “no subscription” on your current account while the charges keep coming.
What to do right now
Since billing and account access issues can’t be handled from the community forum, you’ll need to contact WordPress.com support directly, but the good news is this is exactly the kind of thing they can fix, including issuing refunds.
👉 Go to wordpress.com/help/contact/
In your message, include:
- The email address(es) you may have used to create a WordPress.com account
- The amount being charged — 175 DKK/month
- Your payment method (last 4 digits of card or PayPal email) so they can trace the charge to the correct account
- How many months you’ve been charged, this helps them calculate any eligible refund
- A clear request to cancel the subscription
Also worth checking
Look at your bank or card statement and find the exact merchant name on the 175 DKK charge, it should say something like “Automattic” or “WordPress.com.” Take a screenshot of this and include it in your support request as it helps the team locate the transaction quickly.
You’re not alone in this situation and support will be able to track down which account holds the subscription even if you can’t see it yourself.
Hope this gets resolved quickly for you!
