Subscription and domain

    I recently switch my account to basic and cancelled my domain but I’m still receiving emails as a reminder that the payment is due soon.

    You certainly didn’t cancel your domain as it still functioning. I also see you are still on the premium plan.

  • Hey there @ileanacas, I see you’re set up to not auto-renew, but until you cancel and remove the upgrades, the system is going to guess that you want to keep them.

    Will you be keeping the site and just downgrading / getting rid of your domain?

    If you plan to use your domain elsewhere, I’d recommend transferring (or renewing it here and using it where you’d like) it rather than allowing it to expire.

    You’ll also want to bear in mind that when the domain expires, it will stop working. Any links that point to the domain will just stop working. If you want to give folks (and search engines) a chance to update links first, I’d recommend switching to the free address as soon as possible and then keeping the domain set up to redirect to that free address for a while longer.
