Subscription and Domain Mapping
-
Two quick questions:
1. On the store page, it shows “My subscriptions”, and “Blog subscriptions.” Am I paying for two different services?
2. My understanding was that domain mapping was included in the 100.00 I just paid, but when I type in ihavealife.com, while it takes me to the page, it shows nathanholritz.wordpress.com. How can I get it to show ihavealife.com?
Thanks!

1. No, just one service. It would make more sense if you have more blogs with upgrades. One list is everything, the other list is subscriptions for just that blog.
2. You just need to set your primary domain via Store -> Domains in your blog’s Dashboard.

Thanks for the feedback. I had set it up as the primary, but apparently it took a bit to resolve. It’s working now.
I did get this message in Chrome this morning, however, and was confused by the use of “redirect”. Any ideas?

It can take domain changes up to 72 hours (though usually much less) to propagate to your ISP. Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your ISP refreshes their DNS cache.
That’s probably the cause for the redirect. It should clear up soon, but you might want to clear your browser’s cache too, just in case.
