Subscription and e-commerce site

I have a site but I want to make part of it for e-commerce Digital downloads and the the other part for a subscription service. The subscription service will allow people to use the products I sell on my website. Each site would have a different menu that pulls from the products database. In one site it would link to a shopping cart The other would take you to the subscription site where they can do the activities. Not sure how to do this. Do I need 2 separate sites for it or can I use plug ins to do it one one site?
Also can I pull from the database to both sites if that is how I have to do it? -

You may want to create a site like that with WooCommerce and some additional extensions, like for example WooCommerce Subscriptions:
