Subscription Chaos

Hello,
My viewers are having difficulty subscribing to the Projectartshow Blog?! It can’t be done. Many have tried. The widget is there and subscriptions are enabled, but still no one can make a dent in the system. What is the problem?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Just subscribed, a couple of minutes ago – it works perfectly. The confirmation is sitting in my Inbox.

Same problem at velotech.ca. After an initial flurry of subscribers it seems no more can subscribe and some are getting the email but they don’t show on my subscribers list. What’s up here?

They’re probably backlogged somehow. As you can see from your Admin bar, staff are tinkering with RSS, Subscriptions, etc.

OK-Staff-there’s definitely a disconnect here.
I signed up using the subscribe WIDGET in the sidebar of velotech’s blog. However, my subscription does not show up in my new Manage Subscriptions page.

I just received an email from a blog that I am subscribed to and Admin for and it looks like it was 2 or 3 days in transit. Always before it was in seconds or so.

Another disconnect: After logging out of WordPress.com, I signed up for a site’s email subscription using an email address not associated with my WP.com account, confirmed the subscription and then kept being notified that I could now manage my subscription from the WordPress.com homepage. Unfortunately, not being signed up for WordPress.com, the “Manage Subscription” page was not available to me.
