    I am currently in the process of setting up a service where I design and sell websites using WordPress. However, I am a bit confused about which subscription would be most suitable for my needs and how the costs will change after I transfer a website to a client.

    Could you please advise me on which WordPress subscription is most suitable for selling websites? I’ve heard that there are different options, and I want to make sure I make the right choice that is both efficient and cost-effective for my business.

    Additionally, I’m wondering how the costs change after I transfer a website to a client. Are there any additional expenses associated with transferring the website to the client? Is there anything specific I should consider to ensure that my pricing is fair for both me and my clients?

    Our services are sold on a per-site basis. That includes more than just our fast, stable hosting: it includes spam protection, support, security, maintenance, our CDN, as well as incremental backups, premium themes, and eCommerce upgrades on some plans. If you aren’t familiar with this already, here’s the difference between our managed services and running your own copy of WordPress elsewhere.

    There’s no cost to transfer plan ownership to your users, and in fact we recommend that so we can take care of support and what not going forward. You can stay on as a site admin if you have billing built on retainers, or you can completely transfer ownership. Whatever works best for you.

    The plan you choose for each site will depend on the features it needs. Most sites that don’t need eCommerce features or special plugins will work nicely on the Premium plan with the features we have built-in, but you can find our full pricing here.
