Subscription email notifications to old email

Can anyone help…
I changed my email address from a <myname>@gmail.com to (email visible only to moderators and staff) so the blog name and email were the same and to split the blog traffic to a separate email account.
I have done this and changed the email in users>personal settings and in settings>general but I am still receiving my subscription email notifications to the original address.
I thought it may be each subscription is linked to teh email account registered when subscribing so i unsub’d and resub’d but its still happening.
