Subscription issues
-
Hi, there. I am hearing on a regular basis that new site visitors are attempting to “subscribe” to my blog by typing their email address into the subscription box, but they are not being added to my email list (so they are not actually able to subscribe). This is an inconsistent problem, but I really need help managing this. Collecting emails is a vital part of my business, so I would really appreciate some insight so the problem does not continue. Thank you so much!

Hello!
Are your email subscribers clicking on the confirmation link in the email that we send them? Until they’ve confirmed their request to follow, they won’t receive email notifications for new posts and updates. Have them check their spam folder to make sure the message didn’t get routed there.
Here’s a current list of your subscribers – you can click the “email followers” to see who is currently subscribed via email:

Thank you for the response. Yes, one of my subscribers confirmed that he received an email confirmation and clicked on the link, and he did this 3 times. Another subscriber shared that the site would not push her through to the subscription, even after hitting the subscribe button.
Thank you!

I sent you a separate email requesting some more information. Please let me know if you haven’t received this email.
Thanks!
