Subscription Not Activating

Activate a subscription. I’m following a blog and my confirm subscription link is giving me a error. Don’t know why? I did start getting comments.

Hi supernova, the error I keep getting is: “Your subscription could not be activated. It may have expired, or the e-mail address you subscribed with is not attached to your WordPress.com account.” For your information, I checked and I subscribed with the same e-mail. I don’t know what’s going on. I took a screenshot but have no way to show you that.

Also, can you confirm how you are subscribing? Are you visiting the site in the browser and clicking the follow button, or doing something else? And what email address are you subscribing with? You can go ahead and type it here; only staff will see it.

The link that says confirm follow keeps giving me an error. I did finally hit the follow button on the site.

Different people subscribe to my blog via email and have received and confirmed the email. But I do not receive a notification that they have subscribed and they do not receive my new posts. Yet their email from WordPress said they had subscribed

@godspeaks2usblog you may be having an issue that is unrelated to this thread. Can you start a new thread and add the modlook tag? You can also try getting in touch here:

subscribing with (email visible only to moderators and staff) I was sent a confirm follow button but when I hit that, it wouldn’t subscribe. I eventually went to the site and hit follow. Can you tell me if I’m subscribed or not?

How do I add a screenshot or any attachments? Replied but found out after I sent the e-mail I was replying to a do not reply address.

Hi @daisymae2017, the modlook thing was more for the other user who posted on your thread. You could add it under “tags” if you needed staff help. @timethief was kind enough to do that for you.
I double checked and you are currently subscribed to that site, but you have email notifications disabled. You can change that here:
https://wordpress.com/following/editClick on the site, then click the toggle for notifications and select notification frequency.
