I subscribed to 7 sites but only getting things 3 or 4 sites. Maybe no activity on other sites.

It looks like yamarella.wordpress.com has not been updated for a few days, so maybe give that a few more days, then check the site. If you see a new post that does not show up as an email notification, let us know.

Just checked all sites I’m following. Guess what, Yamarella was on it. Does this mean I get a notice when there is a new post or comments?

@daisymae2017 if you have enabled email notifications for that site, yes. I’ve confirmed you did not have email notifications on for this site before, and that you do now. So yes, you should get a notification next time they post. I hope that helps!

I can definitely explain what a pingback is. It’s a notification that someone else is linking to (or replying to) your blog post. More details here:

Thanks. Now about subscriptions, how long does it take for the change to take place. I updated my subscriptions from Immediate or Daily to weekly on some of my subscriptions and just want to know because I’m still getting the subscriptions at the old delivery frequency. I up dated 2 of them today so that I understand The other ones though it’s been 2 or three days since they were updated.

I am following 7 sites right now. Katzenworld and Site Title are at Daily not Immediate delivery. The other 5 sites that I’m following and having troubles with their delivery frequency are: Angel’s Life, yamarella, Longreads, The Daily Post and the WordPress.com Blog are at Weekly but it seems like I’m getting e-mails Immediately not weekly. How do I get my e-mails to come weekly?

@daisymae2017 you’re getting a lot of emails right now because you’ve enabled email notifications for all comments on two sites. The daily/weekly setup is for posts, but comments are sent right away.
Is that your intent?

I just want comments weekly. Site title and Katzenworld should be the only 2 sites I get daily.
