Hi,
I tried to upgrade the subscription plan for ‘kimochbjorn.wordpress.com’, but consistently received a messagea saying ‘transaction failed’. However, the £85 have been charged to my bank card, baut my plan is still listed as ‘free’.
Can my subscription plan be changed?Best

I’m sorry you’re having troubles with your upgrade!
I’m flagging this thread to Staff attention, so to make sure they know you need direct support from them asap.
As the Staff might be backlogged, a good way to be notified immediately once they reply to you is to subscribe to the thread to get an email notification.

Were you under the account that you used to contact us when you attempted the purchase? Or do you have another account? I checked your account and neither see a successful nor a failed transaction.

Yes, I’m pretty sure I was. At least I don’t have another account – only two different blogs on this account. This attempted upgrade was for the blog “kimochbjorn”.
if your records don’t show any payment on my account at all, I assume that my bank will put the money back on my account, and that I can try to upgrade again after that. But naturally that means that there really hasn’t been any payment registered on your end. -

Usually, if there has been a charge from us on your statement, we will have it on record on our end.
Have you tried to find the charge on https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/? Let me know if you can find it. If you can, I would like for you to e-mail the info so that I can search on our end.

No I could not find a charge in the search (although since I attempted to pay in Pound Sterling (85) I search for the equivalent in USD (120).
Spoke again with my bank. The charge of £85 has been confirmed by them and preliminarily booked by you.
Is there any way to grant me a temporary subscription upgrade until the payment has been registered on your end or the money has returned to my account so that I can attempt another payment? The purpose of the upgrade is to remove the “wordpress” part of our URL for our wedding website, and as the address “kimochbjorn.com” is already printed on the invites that are already on their way to our guests I would like to have this URL set up as soon as possible.Cheers.

Hey there,
I want to see if we can give it 24-48 hours to see if the amount is released back to your bank. Since we have no record of the charge, I can’t imagine the hold will take longer than a day. If the charge is still pending after that time, I will take a look and see what we can do.

Hi,
The charge of £85 is no longer preliminary, but has been confirmed and booked by WordPress. On my bank statement, the charge is now namned “WPCHRG.COM 8772733049”, thus the money cannot return to my bank account. However, my WordPress account is still on a free instead of premium plan.

There must be another account that the charge was made under – it is not under bjornjohnsen. I had the same issue with another user occur just yesterday. So, nothing came up on wpchrg.wordpress.com now that the charge has officially posted? I would try to look again. If no luck, I’ll have you e-mail me provide any other email addresses you may have used to sign up for an online service, or any domain names you may have purchased, as well as the following:
* Name on card
* Date of transaction
* Amount of transactionWe’ll get this sorted out. thanks!
