Subscription Problem
-
I recently purchased a subscription plan from your site, but I’ve found that it’s not what I was looking for. I attempted to unsubscribe and request a refund 24 hours after the purchase, but I haven’t received the refund and have also lost access to my domain.
Could you please provide me with an update on the status of my refund and help me regain access to my domain?
Thank you for your assistance.

Hi there,
I can verify that we successfully issued your refund two days ago. You can see a receipt for the refund here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing
Please note that refunds typically show up in your account within 10 business days. However, we issued the refund on the very same day you made your purchase. Due to this, your credit card provider might have treated it as a reversal, which means that the original charges may have been simply removed.
I recommend reaching out to your bank or credit card company to verify if this is the case for that charge.
About your canceled domain, are you considering using it again on your WordPress.com site, or do you have plans to use it on a different platform?
If you’d like to keep it here on WordPress.com, I can send you a link to pay for the domain only, and then I’ll get it restored for you. Just remember that, in this case, it will only redirect to your free WordPress.com address. To make the domain the main address people see when they visit your site, you’ll need to get one of our paid plans.
Now, if you’d rather use it somewhere else and don’t mind waiting a few days, your domain should become available again by early next week. Then, you’ll be able to register it directly with the provider where you want to use it. But hey, if you don’t want to wait, we can still restore it manually for you, as mentioned above, and then help you point it to the other provider.
Just let us know what works best for you!
