subscription renewal
-
Hi, our blog subscription has No Ads and the cost per year is $39. We don’t see it as an option in the upgrade. How do we select this option of No Ads for that amount?
Thank you,

Sadly, the No Ads upgrade is no longer available separately. However, you may wish to consider purchasing the WordPress.com Personal Plan at $48/yr, which includes No Ads as well as several other benefits for your website: http://wordpress.com/pricing

Hi there,
The account you’re using to post here has never owned a No Ads upgrade.
If you own that upgrade on a site in another account, you can keep using that upgrade as long as you renew it in time each year. But the upgrade is not available to buy on new sites, nor is it able to add it back if you let it expire on a site.

Hi
It’s not clear to us what you mean by “the upgrade is not available to buy on new sites”.
Why can we select a new upgrade plan when we renew? Even if we start a new site all together, we can’t select the upgrade?
Thank you,Judy C

The stand-alone No Ads upgrade is not available to buy any more. You can only renew it on a site that already has it active, but cannot add it to a site that doesn’t have it.
On a new site, the only way to add the No Ads option is to buy a paid plan – all our plans listed at My Site ->Plans include the No Ads feature. On a site that already has the No Ads upgrade active you have the option to renew only that upgrade, or you can replace it with a plan instead.

Hi
If our subscription expired June 27, how long a grace period do we have until we officially renew? We need a little more time to decide.Judy C

Technically the standalone upgrade is renewable only as long as it is active. If it expired several days ago, it is no longer active. WordPress.com personal isn’t much more than “No Ads” and it gives you a custom domain and direct support, as well as extra storage. I’d recommend that if possible.
