subscription renewed

I have received an email to say a subscription has renewed. I’m sure I cancelled this a long time ago and am not sure why it has renewed. I have checked the domain and it is still there but hasn’t been worked on for years. I’m sure I cancelled it in 2018. I would like the subscription cancelled and any fees reimbursed as had no notification of this happening before now. Please advise if you need me to do anything else. I had the renewal sent to my personal email address (email visible only to moderators and staff)

Hi there, I have just responded by email but not sure you’ll get it. The trouble is I don’t know what account you mean? What upgrade? I haven’t purchased anything from WordPress for 3 years. I have a new website that was created for me but I don’t think this is linked to my original accounts.
Can you explain what it is exactly you need? Email address? Website url? Passwords?? I really can’t understand how this has renewed when it hasn’t been active for 3 years. I’m sure I cancelled it along with my other site.

If you have access to multiple WordPress.com accounts, you would need to login to account to manage purchases related to that account – this is for security and privacy.

I have done all of the above and each time is the same. I can access the account, change my password, but when I actually go in to my ‘site’ there is not site there.
I have screen shot all that I see so that you can see what I’m seeing. You have charged me for a site that no longer exists in my account. -

I am not seeing a recent email sent to
[email protected]from your account. To confirm, what email did you use?To assist you with regaining access to your account, you can use the transaction ID located on your bank statement as proof of ownership when you reach out to the Account Recovery Team. They would be the best bet to further assist you with regaining access to your account.
At the very least, if you can provide the transaction ID, we can refund that even if we are still working on helping you with regaining access to the account.
