Subscription widget makes sidebar menu disappear

  When I add a subscription widget to my blog (theme Chaotic Soul), the menu on my sidebar where I have all my pages disappears. It seems like either I can have a subscription widget or a sidebar menu with multiple pages, but not both. How do I get around this?
