Subtitle For Blog Post

  Hello All,

  I am attempting to make it possible for me to add a subtitle to my various blog posts, for instance

  Title: The Death of Discourse
  Subtitle: Online Discussions in the Modern Age

  All the suggestions I have found indicate that I should use the “custom fields” section, but I am unable to find this. Can anyone help me figure out how to add this feature? Thank you in advance.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Custom Fields are only available in the self-hosted version of the WordPress.org software. We do not have them here on WordPress.com.

  We do not have custom fields here at wordpress.com. Only self-hosted blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG have custom fields.

  Since the only customization we can do is through CSS, and since CSS cannot be used to add functionality, my only suggestion would be to put the subtitle at the top of the post.
