SUBURBIA theme not displaying pictures for individual posts on the home page.

Pictures on individual posts are not displaying on the home page of one of my blogs. I changed the theme yesterday to SUBURBIA. It is beautiful but only 2 of 6 posts are showing the picture. I looked to see if there were any settings that need to be changed, but they are all the same. Happened with Firefox and Chrome, so it’s not browser related.

live demo site http://suburbiademo.wordpress.com/On the main page, Suburbia doesn’t display regularly inserted images. They only display when a post is viewed on its own page – not on the front page. Only two posts with featured images in them display there side by side.
To have front page image display you need to set a featured image to each post. The size of the featured image does matter. The featured image works best with images at least 350 by 248 (width, height).

Blog pages show at most __ posts. -
The above info is only partly correct. On the main page, Suburbia will display an image if you set it as a featured image. But it will also display a regularly inserted image, provided the image has been uploaded from your computer to your blog via the Add Media tool of the post in question. The posts with the grey rectangles on your main page don’t display an image because the images you have inserted in those posts are hosted elsewhere.

Justpi and Timethief, thank you both. That’s the difference, it shows the images that I uploaded, as opposed to those I selected from the group offered at the bottom of a new post. I can fix that one; thanks again.
