Sucuri Alert emails… why am I getting these?

    Sucuri Alert emails… why am I getting several of these daily? How do I address them and get them to stop?

    Hi Ellie –

    I do not think this email is coming from WordPress.com. Could you share some of the email with me here so I can verify that for you.

    Another tip would be to Google the contents of the email and see if you can track down where it is coming from. Either way, unsubscribing from it should be an option too.

    They all look like that. I didn’t see anything useful when I Googled it and I don’t see how to unsubscribe.

    Hello there!

    At a quick glance it looks like this email may be generated from a plug in called Securi Security, link here: https://kb.sucuri.net/plugins/email-alerts. Perhaps check your Plugins section for this and see if you are able to adjust the setting for email alerts.

    Otherwise, it looks as though the website that you require assistance with is a self-hosted WordPress.org site rather than WordPress.com.

    Your site is indeed using the version of WordPress from WordPress.org and is currently being hosted on SiteGround. As @codekmyta mentioned the alerts you are seeing are from the Securi plugin installed on your site.
