Sudden change of template/layout display of individual photos in photo gallery

I am using the Twenty Seventeen theme. Suddenly the automatic template used when clicking on and displaying an individual photo in a photo gallery has changed. This began before I upgraded to the 4.7.5 version. The photos will normally display on the right side of the page with the title on the left. Now, with any new photos uploaded, both photo and title are displaying vertically on the left side. In addition, and more annoying, there is an automatic ‘previous’ widget with the same title at the bottom left of the page which when clicked simply loops back to the same photo page. Any new photo I upload is being displayed this way, which makes my site inconsistent. Is there a fix for this? I don’t want to have to take down all my previously uploaded photos and start all over again. Thank you for any help.

Just as a follow up I just went to update my blog, and it’s completely changed appearance. Using Safari, the blog posts are almost unreadable – but for some reason on GChrome, I can read the content and it’s clear.
Is there a bug that could have affected the appearance for several people? Any help would be appreciated.

same thing has happened to me, but i haven’t edited anything so i have no idea why or how this happened
