Sudden increase in comments/spam

  Over the last three days my blog has experience well over 25 “spam comments”. I consider them spam but they are WordPress blogs that simply aggregate my blog postings in relation to their own keyword criteria. They add nothing to the discussion, do not acknowledge authorship and are just filling up the blogosphere with unnecessary traffic of unoriginal content.

  Is this aggregating blog activity being experienced by others?

  These are called scraper blogs and they are commonplace.

  Are you referring to comments that were caught as spam by Akismet, or were they missed?

  If Akismet missed them, please use the Spam button to report them.
