Sudden increase in view from Malaysia – what is going on?

Suddenly (week of August 15, 2015) my blog is getting several hundred views per day. These are all coming from Malaysia. There are no views of actual posts, no likes or comments; just views the main page. While I’m glad to see this uptick, I’m puzzled as to why, and concerned if it means some kind of hidden issue. Has anyone else ever seen this? Thanks!

There are no views of actual posts,
Since you never use the More Tag – the full Post can be read from the front page – no need to click on a Post to read it.
You were Freshly Pressed at some time, so you have some popular content – maybe something got passed around – or maybe there is a new spam bot crawling your site
There is no security threat to your site, no danger to your content or anything
I have also flagged this for staff attention so they can take a look at your traffic, they have access to information you don’t

The More Tag also makes it easier for people to navigate your front page since the Posts will no longer run together and your front page will load a bit quicker
