Sudden jump in stats are too high to be true -can you help?

  I think the stats of how many views we are getting on our blog are wrong. Over the last several years, we have gotten between 100 and 250 views a month. Then beginning in 2014 our stats started going sky high – from 16,000 to over 40,000 a month. Can someone help me figure out why this is happening and fix it so I can get realistic stats again? Thanks,
