Sudden stats rise

  Why would I get sudden large bump in stats (visitors (and views for one day on one post)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That could be because it was shared on social networking sites. It could also be the result of approving a single span comment. Spammers watch for that and then if you fall for it and approve a spam comment they hammer the post. May we please have the URL of the post in question?
