sudden very low traffic all week

    My traffic suddenly dropped from about 100 hits a day (fairly steady for the last year) to about 20-30 hits a day over last weekend and hasn’t picked back up. Is thIs there something blocked or not working on my blog from WordPress’s end? Are other bloggers experiencing the same drop? I read the tip about keeping tags under 15 but that really doesn’t seem to help, and my posts are showing up.

    Hi there,

    I haven’t heard of any consistent drop across the WordPress.com platform or any technical issue that would prevent others from visiting your site. However, I will keep my eye out.

    It looks like the drop in traffic is primarily due to a drop in search engine referrals. Unfortunately, we have no control over how your blog appears in search engines (or how high up it appears). Based on this, I don’t think there’s much we can do to help out. I would just continue to put out awesome content and share your work with others!
