Sudden WordPress setup config?

Hi guys,
For some reason I have to setup or config my forum/website by WordPress, I’m using phpbb so it shouldn’t really be affected by WordPress. I’ve tried reaching for help on the phpbb community but hoping that someone here can assist.
I haven’t uploaded anything to the server, all the files are based on an external server and I access them using Filezilla. Only changes that have been made have been made to header, footer, forum board and stylesheet related.
Everything was working yesterday, and today this happened…

Any idea why this would suddenly happen?

phpBB wouldn’t be able to help, as these are separate installations on the same host. You likely have each in a separate folder. One won’t affect the other. You might have changed some things on the database that stopped the link from the installation of WordPress from connecting to your existing site info. (I’ve supported phpBB for a little longer than WordPress, and I can say now that they’ll say there’s nothing they can do.)
You have a self-hosted WordPress.org site. This forum is strictly for WordPress.com hosted sites. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.
You’ll want to use the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/ for any support on managing your site. They can tell you how to link this back up! Hope that helps to point you in the right direction!

Since I can’t edit my previous post and have read your other one now, WordPress.com isn’t the right place for this but the advice you’ve gotten from phpBB to undo the WordPress installation within your forum folders is more accurate.

Somehow a /wp folder ended up in the root directory of the server. I have no idea how this could’ve happened.
But this is now solved :)
