Suddenly can’t upload media images anymore

    I updated to WP 6.5.3 and now can’t upload images larger than around 80KB or less than 100px in size – ie. literal thumbnail, to my media library.

    I get the error “The server cannot process the image. This can happen if the server is busy or does not have enough resources to complete the task. Uploading a smaller image may help. Suggested maximum size is 2,560 pixels”.

    Theme not the issue – checked with developer.
    Plugins not the issue – disabled all to test.
    Tried re-sizing and compressing images.
    Checked with host – they increased file size anyway, no joy.

    Can’t figure out *exactly* what to try next to fix the issue…

    Anyone else have the same problem?

    Wa can’t help as your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform but is selfhosted. “The server cannot process the image. This can happen if the server is busy or does not have enough resources to complete the task.” As your site is running on a shared platform, you must contact your hosting support to know what’s going on.

    Suddenly I can’t upload my images from my computor. Get error and it says can’t upload the item. What can I do? my site is mycketyck.com
