Suddenly Google does not open my blog for me.

A few days ago I agreed to a google offer, to increase the security of Safari. I clicked yes. Fro that time, when I write the address of my blog in Google and click “Enter”, Google does not complete the request. I see that the graph that shows the progress of opening the site becomes complete and then starts again and again and again. In front of the address of my site I see a lock and then the letter “r”. These two keep replacing each other.
What to do, to repair this?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Are you referring to http://intuitiveflow.org/?

What I post below applies only to sites hosted by wordpress.COM.

You must be logged in under the exact same username that registered the site to be able to access the site. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:

    http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

If you are not logged in under the correct username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies and then login correctly under the relevant username account.

If the login information has been lost go to
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#lost-password

If required use the account recovery form
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form

*Replace NAME_OF_BLOG in that URL with the actual name of your blog.

I recommend bookmarking that link or memorizing it.

First I thank you very much.
I want to add something. With the use of Firefox instead of Safari, I could access my blog, like always. I think this shows that something went wrong with Safari, after I clicked on adding security to Safari.

And I wrote a few words between the lines of your answer, jut to answer your questions.

    Thanks again,
    Giora

    YES INDEED.

I THINK MY BLOG IS HOSTED BY WORDPRESS.COM
OR, IF I HAVE ORG IN THE END, IT IS HOSTED BY ME?

    Hi there,

Your site is hosted on WordPress.com :)

This does indeed sound like a changed setting on Safari is preventing the site from loading. Your site loads fine for me in Safari, though.

Without knowing exactly what is it you did I have no idea how you would fix this. I do not think that the “offer” you clicked on was from Google, though. Google does not create browser security products. It rather sounds like you installed a malicious browser toolbar or extension that has hijacked the browser settings.

I recommend you contact Apple support about this so they can give you the best steps to clean up Safari again and remove the adware causing this. Also consider installing Malwarebytes for Mac on your computer. It might be able to remove whatever it is you installed.

Thank you so much kokkieh, happiness guy,

It is so wonderful that you know what you know and think so clearly and helpfully.

What happened is I checked the Privacy button on my Safari Preferences and found that I did not allow any cookies. I just did it a few days ago, to see what it does.
Once I allowed cookies from sites that I visit (I hope this is a good thing to do), I immediately was able to go to my blog.

The adventures of a not-knowing (but trying things out) guy.

    Thanks again. So lovely,

    Giora

I’m glad to hear it was cookies and not something bad :)

Blocking cookies should not prevent your site from loading, though, so that’s a bit strange. But at least everything is working now.
