suddenly half of my posts are not showing anymore

  after placing some new sticky posts a lot of my other posts are not showing any more. in configuration i cannot change the amount of showing sitepages from 50 to 100. which was not a problem before. my theme is imbalance 2. the blogurl is http://www.expeditiewesterwolde.com

  i placed about 130 posts on the site, they were always showing on the frontpage with infinite scroll. now about 60 are not showing…

  it looks like that only the posts published in 2013 are showing. alle the posts published in 2014 are not showing unless they are sticky….

  yes it is a year problem. out of the blue. i changed the publication date from one of the not visible posts on the frontpage from 2014 to 2013 and it showed! does this mean there is problem at wordpress???

  i just found out that the statistics does not show anything at all today!!!
  is there a problem/bug or whatever at wordpress?

  Hello there,

  First, let’s address the amount of posts that are displaying on your home page. Your theme only allows a maximum of 50 posts to be shown, even if you do have infinite scroll enabled. Those settings can be seen here:

  https://expeditiewesterwolde.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php

  Regarding your problem with certain posts not displaying on your home page, I’ve turned Infinite Scroll off for the time being. This is allowing your posts to display in proper reverse-chronological order.

  I will bring the issue to our developers to see if they can find a solution for the difficulty you’re having with your posts displaying properly when Infinite Scroll is activated.

  thank you for your support: the strange thing is that ALL the posts showed on the frontpage for more than a year with infinite scroll on! and that today suddenly only the posts published in 2013 showed. when i changed the publicationdate of one of the not showing posts (originally published in 2014) to 2013 it showed. that has to do with chronological order? i think it is quite strange.
  at the moment the stats are indeed showing again, but all day long i saw nothing qua blue column showing visitors of today and topposts of today etc.
  in settings, reading, the button allows you to show more than 50 posts on a page, why is that?

  Hey there,

  The 50 post limit may have been imposed by the theme developer. Once our team is able to research the issue you’re having, we’ll have all the answers.

  Regarding stats: there are currently being improvements made to our stats feature. It could have been that things simply hadn’t synched up properly yet. As long as things are displaying fine now, that’s great, but let’s keep an eye on it. If things go awry again, please let me know.
