Suddenly low traffic and stats on my blog

    Hi there.

    I have for some days now a drop of my site stats .. from abut 200 plus dwon to 20 and lower..

    What is the reason for this?

    My style or writing, types of posts did not change either..

    I looks as I’m censored as I am form south eastr asian region.

    I am also no expert in any of those computer and blogging things.

    So I would like to get an easy to understand explanation how this happens just from one day to another?

    Can anybodey on wordpress or elsewhere jut blocks the traffic?

    How to get back the traffic?

    I read this happens many times here, specially to those who are in the south asien regio adn eastern middle region.

    We live in Pakistan.

    could it be that they themselves censor and cut the traffic?

    There are a variety of reasons for why traffic can change on your blog, so it can sometimes be hard to pinpoint the exact reasons for a change. There aren’t any clear changes here at WordPress.com that would trigger this kind of change in your blog’s traffic.

    One thing to note is that if you are trying to gain traffic from the WordPress.com Reader, you should limit the number of categories and tags you use on your posts. Your recent posts aren’t appearing in the Reader Topics section because of the high number of tags on them.     I also see that a large number of your blog’s visitors were coming to your blog from Google. It’s possible that changes in how Google ranks your blog have impacted your traffic. You can read about how WordPress.com works with search engines here: Search Engines

    You might want to consider setting up Google Webmaster Tools to get more help with your blog in Google search results. You can find out more about that here: Webmaster Tools

    thank you a lot..
    i hope i can figure out how to do this all. over here the goverment is censoring and blocking may things lately to get you tube back on .

    perhaps that too is a point in it.

    but google may have changed lately becvause before i did not have any problems.

    okey i will try the tag advices .

    interestingly in the beginning of this blog i had only few tags and categories ad very low amount of visitores. later i changed that and they became more.

    but one thing i noticed too is that hundres of followers subscribed via email and it looks as its abig spam or hacker pool. since this happen we have also more problems with our computer.
    before i barely had follwers which doe not bother me too much either. but the opposite more.. sex sites , etc, are subscribing to me…

    any idea what that is?

    oh boy. i finally got my blog verified by googlr after many attempts and bing too.. but i am not entrusted with all this technical stuff. it kinda frightening me a bit.. smile.. my eyes hurt and i get dizzy from siitig too long at thje screen..

    It is possible for spammers to follow your blog, although it isn’t something you need to worry about. Pretty much the only thing they have to gain by following you is getting you to visit or follow their blog through the notification email.

    If you did visit a spam site or are having trouble with your computer, you may want to use anti-virus software to check your computer for viruses. If you see a spam site hosted on WordPress.com, you can also report the site with this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/report-blogs/

    It’s possible that some of the earlier traffic on your blog was from spammers. In that case, the drop in visits could mean that you aren’t getting as much spam traffic on your blog.

    Hi there..

    Now I face eevn more problems!

    I didi most what is advised but now the traffic is eevn more down and when i tried to sign into my blog via a pop up came up that my blvok contents are banned and so that my blog is dangerous and against political corretcness???
    wiothout wanting to accuse anybody but e never had any problems before adjusting all this setting and now eve the searchj imgines kick me out and almost nobody comes now, compared to just a week or so before. and i nevr had many spammers before .. etc. but good traffic and searches..

    its a kind of racing profile going on here?

    I want to reassure you that WordPress.com hasn’t blocked your site. I can open your site and view it without any problems, and there isn’t anything on our end that would block visitors from viewing it.

    Unfortunately, that means that the problem may be coming from your internet service provider. Sometimes individual ISPs or countries will block access to WordPress.com sites, which might be what is happening for you. You can contact your ISP for additional information, and please let us know if there is anything more we can do to help.

    anyway, i changed again somethings and things improved atomic molecule size wise.

    I tried to cut down on much and get ninto the reader. you know its quiet a challenge if one has no idea about technology

    faced quite some challenges here.
