suddenly unable to log in via wp-admin

i have been logging into my website for edits for the past 5-6 years with no problem with wp-admin.

my last login was 2 weeks ago to add some pictures and edit some information. i just found out that i could not log in with the error “invalid username”

please help me!

Is this about this WordPress site? http://doggylicious-studio.com/

I see that http://doggylicious-studio.com/ is a self-hosted WordPress (WordPress.org) site and not a WordPress.com site.

Are you able to login into your site using the WordPress.com dashboard? If you have enabled Jetpack and still have it active, you will be able to post to your WordPress site using the WordPress.com dashboard.

Note on forum differences

The current community forums we are on is meant for questions related to WordPress.com sites.

You can try using the WordPress.com dashboard to see if you are able to use your site, or, you will have to ask on self-hosted WordPress (WordPress.org) community forums for advanced technical help which will help fixing your wp-admin login issue.

Note that you might need an account to post on self-hosted WordPress forums. You can create one here.

Where do you see this? Is this on WordPress.com dashboard or the wp-admin dashboard?

I ran a Jetpack debug test on your site http://doggylicious-studio.com/ at https://jetpack.com/support/debug/

I see the following message:

We were unable to make an XML-RPC request to your website. Please make sure that XML-RPC is turned on and that Jetpack is installed, activated and connected with your WordPress.com account. If the error persists, try disconnecting and connecting Jetpack again.

This means that Jetpack connection is faulty for your site and you cannot use your WordPress.com dashboard to access your site http://doggylicious-studio.com/

This step can be ruled out now.

Your best shot would be posting this on the self-hosted WordPress (WordPress.org) forums instead of the current forums, which is meant for WordPress.com sites.
