  Being a newbie, My Granddaughter has asked me to write a Blog on her and her partners Travels to South America and on to other parts of the world i.e. New Zealand etc.
  A travelouge type I think would be suitable. But what contex should I write on her behalf. make a statement I am writing on her behalf, write in a third party, pretend I am her? It is intended that she send me Script and photo’s when Possible due to the erratic availability of Internet access. Advice would me most appreciated from those with similar experience. Then a steep learning curve for a 77 year old. Quite excited about this project keep the grey matter active although a little slower than in the past.

  Hey, i got a free theme which is quite suitable for writing journal, i use it to create my own journal for over three years. and now, i’m still fond of this. So, you can try and you would love it!

  Sounds like an exciting project!

  As for a theme, if you’ll have access to lots of good-quality photos, then I’d definitely recommend one that emphasizes photos in an interesting way. Here are a few suggestions:

  Pretending you’re her seems a little odd, to me anyway. :)

  I would definitely suggest writing from your own point of view, sharing your granddaughter’s travels from your own voice. If she’s sending you text in the first person, you could also add a note at the top of each post, and use some type of separator before posting her words.
