Suggested Themes [free only]

  Hi-

  I am using the Chateau Theme which I find aesthetically appealing and fairly functional.

  What free themes do you folks suggest – I know this is extremely subjective – as the best out there in design, functionality, and customization.

  The Chateau theme seems to have no visible use for the location setting, for example. Look forward to some opinions.

  You’re right that this is subjective and you really haven’t given us a lot to go on as to what you need. With over 180 free themes, https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sort/free/ it would be helpful to know what functionality you’re looking for.

  Looking at your site I see that writing is your focus, so themes that put that front and center might appeal to you.

  Thank you … I was just wondering what others like best. I have played around with a few of the themes, but am hesitant to do so as I have lost all my settings a couple of times [widgets, etc.] when I returned to Chateau.
