  I know wordpress already has a help forum but can wordpress have a regular chat forum

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there, we do offer Live Chat for those that have the WordPress.comPersonal, Premium or Business plan. We do not at this time offer it for those on the free plan. Those on the free plan can post here in our forums for help from our knowledgeable volunteers and Staff.

  Yes but I meant like a wordpress chat forum like chatting with other wordpress members on different topics, posting pictures etc 

  Separate from the support forum

  Will that be something wordpress will ever add in the future

  We have no plans to create a social forum like that, no. However, you’re welcome to start something like this on your own site if you like. Many bloggers have regular posts they publish just to invite other people to share their posts and chat about blogging in general.
