Suggestion…. ability to seperate comments into pages, and reply to comments

    Here’s a nifty idea I thought of tonight…

    I’d be great to have the ability to have, like we have in entries, to have comments seperated by pages. (we could configure the number of pages to display at a time…) and the ability to reply to each comment. (kinda like they do on digg)

    Also another idea, have the option of the comments coming up as a seperate page, or pop up box, would be nice. would get rid of all the scrolling..

    Threaded comments are difficult to implement in a multi-theme environment because there needs to be some sort of visual indication of which replies ‘belong’ to which comments. Basically, all the themes and the whole way comments work would need to be recoded. It’s a lovely idea but I don’t think it’s practical at this stage.

    What figured, I went ahead, closed comments, and created a forum! Much easier. (I think?)
