Suggestion for slideshow to embed

I have pictures already hosted on an FTP site.. Can someone recommend a slideshow plugin/app/flash/java that I can use to embed a slideshow into a post using these pics? I don’t want to use the gallery slideshow, and I don’t want to create yet another picasa/flickr/image hosting account..

That’s not possible on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. If you want to install plugins of any kind then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.
There is no FTP access and no plugin capability on free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

I understand your response, but certainly I can embed a slideshow like a youtube video..? I didn’t mean I needed FTP access, I mean I want to create a slideshow based on pictures that are already online.. You can’t do that with a gallery slideshow.. I assume there is a free “make a slideshow to embed to your blog” somewhere online, hopefully some other wordpress user has found a great one..?
