Suggestions for Gutenberg friendly themes similar to Vigilance?

  Hi I’ve been running my site on the Vigiliance theme since 2011 with no issues whatsoever but ever since the Gutenberg update, I’ve run into difficulties. I do like the Gutenberg editor for its ease of use, but there are formatting problems that I notice in the way text wraps around images on a desktop vs mobile viewing experience and no way for me to fix one without messing up the other.

  Today it dawned on me that perhaps I’m running into these issues because Vigliance wasn’t Gutenberg complaint, and sure enough it was retired awhile ago. No one to blame but myself for not noticing that, so I’m curious if there’s a Gutenberg friendly theme that can help me solve my problem that’s similar to Vigilance in its overall look and minimalist feel. Thanks!

  Hmm, good question! I don’t think we’ve got any Gutenfriendly themes based on Vigilance. You can take a look here though to see what we do have, though. Here’s a list of the newest options.

  And, our Themes team is adding more themes there regularly — including several reboots of existing themes, just to add Gutenberg support. They haven’t converted any retired themes just yet, but hopefully one will show up there that you’ll like.
