Suggestions on a writer friendly theme

  Please I need your suggestions… Can anybody suggest a tested and trusted theme -for aspiring writers like me- that shows crisp clear text, distinct background colours and Featured images…and customizable too.
  Please specify in your suggestions the ($) price of the theme or if it’s FREE.

  Sorry but theme selection is subjective and you will have to make the selection of your own using the filters in the searchbox here http://wordpress.com/themes/ to narrow your choices down.
