Suicidal Posts?

  I am wondering what we should do, when someone we are following posts a suicidal post? A lot of people don’t have their names or locations on here. Someone I follow posted a suicidal post and a lot of us responded, hoping she would respond back. She hasn’t though and it’s been over a week and we are all very concerned. I tried doing some research before posting on the forum but I couldn’t seem to find any answers of someone to contact or what to do. Please help!

  Hi there. Unfortunately there’s not anything WordPress.com can do. They only have the information the user provided when creating the account, which is an email address and username. If the user didn’t choose to provide more info via the blog itself, then no one has it.

  It’s also useful to alert the police. I have some experience in this; call the police in YOUR location and give them all the information. They can follow up in the locaation the posts originate. It works.
