Summaries on home page

  I have set the Reading setting for our blog to “Summary,” wanting only a small portion of each entry to appear in the home page. Why does it continue to show each entry in it’s entirety? Please help.

  The setting you modified is only for the RSS feed.

  To make only a portion of each entry appear on the home page, you can use the more tag: http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
