Summarized view of post on home page

  Is there any way a person can offer a summarized view of the recent posts on the home page of the blog? Ideally, one should see the first 5-10 lines of the post and have a link at the end for “more”. Inline expansion of the rest of the post with an opportunity of collapsing detail would be ideal (though a new page opening up is not bad either).

  Sure, use a theme that does that automatically OR use the Read More tag (icon #13, I believe, the dotted line). You just put your cursor where you want the break and hit the button.

  It’s a button on the editor. On my editor, it’s the button labeled “more”.

  It’s the top row of icons when you’re writing a post; just to the right of the icon which looks like a tree.
