Summarizing a Page on the Post page

  When I update or create a page, I sometimes want to put a post on the home page to let people know the page has been updated. Is there a way to do this automatically?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Have you set up blog subscrittions so your subscribers get your latest posts emailed to them? If you do that then you can publish a brief post conaining a link to the static page that you have updated.
