Summary front page
-
Hi! I really appreciate your help.
I want to use my blog in this way:
* 3 categories (brand,event,blog)
* Posts is sorted under 1 of these categories
* I use a single column wordpress, with no sidebarI want my startpage to be a ‘summary page’ where the three categories are displayed with graphics, and the most commented post is listed under the graphic.
The effect should be a stylis frontpage where you’ll find the classic blog-post-page when you navigate further.
How is it possible to solve this? Or should I approach the problem in any other way?
Thanks!

It sounds like you would need to create a static front page and add the category images/links and most commented post content manually to that page. Please see http://support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/ for setting your blog to display a static front page.
When you set your blog to display a static front page, you will also need to designate a page where your blog posts will appear. You will need to link this somehow, as well. You can easily do this with the Pages Widget, but I see that you do not want a sidebar at all.

If it’s true what you’re saying that’s a ‘hole’ in WP. Better upp is that i create a static PHP-page that is designed like my blog and add code to that page.
Thanks!
