In each article I wrote I uploaded an image and I would like that the image appear in the article summary. The problem is that although all articles have an image, some images appear in the summary, others do not. Please help me. Thank you.

Hi, @yna01!
Are you talking about the posts that have a question mark where the image should be, like this: https://blogulcatalinei.wordpress.com/2015/04/23/diferenta-dintre-apropiat-si-strain-consta-in-gradul-tau-de-nepasare/?
If so, it appears that the error is related to attempting to add the images to your post via URL — the servers that the images are hosted on are returning a “file not found” error, which is preventing them from appearing in your posts.
I’d suggest saving the original images to your computer and uploading them to your WordPress.com Media Library to use them directly — instructions on adding images to your library can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-media/.
I hope this helps! :)

Hi! I’m not talking about that type of error….I save every image on my computer than I upload them. If you keep scrolling on the main page : http://blogulcatalinei.wordpress.com/ , after fourteen / nineteen article you can observe that there is no image on my article summary. I uploaded them all from my computer….
-
Well that’s weird! Just so we are both looking at the same thing, I recorded a GIF of what I’m seeing when I scroll through your site, which you can look at here: http://take.ms/GTmtm
The only ones that didn’t have images are the ones that had the question marks that correlate to the File Not Found issues I had mentioned before, which you can see here: http://take.ms/WaTRA
If that’s not matching what you’re seeing, you might need to clear your browser’s cache — there’s instructions on doing that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
If that is what you’re seeing, though, those errors mean that something happened which prevented the image from being properly attached into the post. I’d go into one of them and delete the image and put it back in to see if that resolves it.
Let me know what happens! :)

That’s what I see. Instead of question mark where the image should be, I can see the my article title again. But when I open the article…the image is there! I cleaned my browser’s cache and still nothing. It’s weird indeed! (Sorry my bad english). -
-
AH! Okay, I get it now :)
We’re both seeing the same thing in different ways — instead of showing you the question mark, your browser is just displaying the title text of the image, because the browser can’t find the image to display.
If you go in and put the images back in the posts from the Media Library as I described before, it should fix it.
Let me know!

I changed my theme once. But I don’t remember when. I think it was last year.
I deleted some images from my Media Library, I uploaded them again, I changed some images in my articles….but still nothing. There are a few articles which remain the same. -
Note that the media files are included in your feed https://blogulcatalinei.wordpress.com/feed/
-
I can see in your link only a few articles. Those are ok. But the fourteen / nineteen article still has media files included in my feed?
-
-
Please just give me a solution. I can’t see the difference. I did the same thing to all my articles. I even changed a few images hoping that it will be ok, thinking that the image was too big/small or something. I uploaded them from my computer.

Do all the image you have uploaded into your Media Library at http://blogulcatalinei.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php have unique image file titles?
-
Thank you. I have ten entries in my RSS Feed.
There are some settings that I discover now. I am a beginner….excepting a few images, and article settings I don’t know what to do. -
@yna01 The posts don’t show that you’ve updated the image from the Media Library… They’re still trying to pull the image from the following address:
https://i1.wp.com/41.media.tumblr.com/8739f4796bdbeab958b2b77ecfab8b4c/tumblr_mxpk1jSwF81qmfjnfo1_500.jpgThe part after the i1.wp.com shows where WordPress.com is pulling the image from for it’s content delivery, which is returning the file not found error I mentioned earlier.
The only thing I can offer beyond deleting the picture from the post and reinserting it is to try to upload the image with a different file name to WordPress.com in order and use that new file — it should generate a new file name in WordPress.com’s system, which should then point to the right image.

So…I deleted two of my article’s images (I saved the articles whithout images). I changed their name and folder on my desktop and I uploaded them again in my Media Library. One is good, the second still does not want to appear on my article summary.
I think I’ll quit. I’ll try tomorrow to delete all the images with problems, to download others, to rename them and to upload them again.
If everything will be the same I will put a link or I will let the article without image.
