"Summary option"

  “Summary option” under Settings and Reading is not working on my blog.

  It’s not supposed to work on the blog: it’s for the post feed.
  This is what you need:

  Hi guys, I see that all the replies about the “summary” function is only for feeds (not for posts). But that’s not true! Or, at least, something has changed, recentely.
  Because, until some weeks ago, after having selected a month in the “post-archive” widget, wordpress showed just an abstract for each post (without using the more-tag option, as all of you are suggesting…)
  What’s happened?
