Why is the summary option not working?

  Hello!

  I am using the Linen theme. I have two posts featured as ‘sticky’ in the slider up top, and then another post below. Under settings>reading I have selected ‘summary’ under ‘For each article in a feed show:’ (the other option is full text) but the bottom post still shows the full text. Any advice on how to get it to just show the summary?

  The summary option only affects your blog’s RSS feed.

  For the posts on your blog, you’ll need to manually split them with a more tag: http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
